This layout uses equal rectangular openings, full-width top and bottom trim, and segmented horizontal rails. The main takeoff assumes a flat rectangle. The obstruction check below the calculator compares trim with boxes you mark; it does not subtract door openings, reroute trim or design electrical clearances.
